Dollar Suffered 12.5% Decline, And Most Americans Liked It
The U.S. Dollar exchange rate just suffered the worst decline since 1973, falling over the last six months from a high of 110.18 in January, to a low of 96.38 in today’s trading. Despite amounting to a 6-month loss of -12.5%, most American seemed to like it.
President Trump took office on January 20, 2025 with a mandate to Make America Great Again by reversing globalism to bring back high paying middle-class jobs. Over the last 6-monthsTrump has drastically shrunk the federal workforce, issued record high tariffs, booted illegal aliens, started wars, ended wars, and body-slammed the Left.
Establishment economists and the mainstream media have been howling that the chaotic President Trump has taken 340 million American’s on a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
NPR recently reported that ‘No Kings’ is orchestrated by the 50501 Movement is a “national movement made up of everyday Americans who stand for democracy and want to dethrone Trump for his authoritarian actions. The name 50501 stands for 50 states, 50 protests, one movement.”
No King’s describes Trump MAGA sins to include: “They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services. The corruption has gone too. far. No thrones. No crowns. No kings.”
But the “No Kings” protests were organized by a coalition of over 200 billionaire funded groups that included: Indivisible, the American Civil Liberties Union, MoveOn, the American Federation of Teachers, and the Communications Workers of America.
With Trump against war, against globalism, looking out for the little guy, refusing to consider Social Security and Medicarebudget cuts, and attacking Big Pharma; Rassmussen Presidential Tracking Poll gives Trump a strong 49% Approval Rating.
A look at the U.S. Labor Department's jobs report for the month of June shows that the number of foreign-born workers declined by 348,000 from May — while the number of foreign-born workers has declined by more than 543,000 jobs since Trump took office.
That is viscerally contrasts to the number of U.S.-born workers that increased by 830,000 from May to June, and is over 2 million higher than when Trump took office.
The Trump White House press secretary Karoline Leavittcelebrated the report: “For the FOURTH month in a row, jobs numbers have beat market expectations with nearly 150,000 good jobs created in June.”
Leavitt with a huge smile on her face trumpeted: “American-born workers have accounted for ALL of the job gains since President Trump took office and wages continue to rise.” She spiked the ball by stating the “economy is booming again” and will accelerate further following the July 4th passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”
