BUTLER, PENNSLYVANIA—A crowd estimated at 100,000 plus showed up to the President Donald J. Trump’s Oct. 5 rally at the farm show venue of the July 13thassassination attempt against him that resulted in a bullet barely missing a direct hit on his head, when he turned to look at a graphic of illegals crossing the southern border. Instead, the bullet pierced his right ear.
“A hero who is no longer with us, gave his life to shield wife and children,” said Donald J. Trump. “When he heard the sound of gunshots, he lept into the fire one more time and at the last second, he threw himself on top if his wife and daughters. He knew what was happening and he was hit hard.
“For 16 seconds, time stopped, as pure evil was unleashed from a sniper. And by the providence and grace of God, (the sniper) did not stop our movement nor break our spirit.” After Secret Service agents jumped on President Trump shielding him from the assassin’s bullets, Trump stood up with a bloodied face and proclaimed boldly: “Fight, Fight, Fight”—which has now become a Trump campaign slogan.
That summer day, the life of Fire Captain Corey Comperatore, 50, was taken. He left behind a wife, Helen, and two daughters that were also attending the July 13 rally. President Trump has said that more than $6 million has been raised for the families of the three victims of the shooting. His family called him a “beloved father and husband, and a friend to many throughout the Butler region.”
Pennsylvania State Rep. Marci Mustello said Comperatorehad served as fire chief of the Buffalo Township Fire Company, describing him as a “devoted public servant” and a “true American hero.” The two others who were critically injured, but survived: 57-year-old David Dutch and 74-year-old James Copenhaver.
“Tonight, I return to Butler, with a simple message to the people of America,” said Trump. “Our movement to Make America Great Again and stronger is nearer to victory that ever before. We are going to win this election. Our movement belongs to you, to our country. In one month, we will usher in a new Golden Age of security, prosperity and sovereignty for every race, religion, color and creed.”
Elon Musk: “President Trump Must Win To Preserve Democracy”
Appearing at President Trump’s rally was billionaire Elon Musk. “The test of character is how you behave under fire,” said Musk. “We have had a president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs. Another one is fist pumping after getting shot and shouting ‘Fight, Fight, Fight’ with blood coming down his face.
“There is no true test than courage under fire. Who do you want representing America? This is no ordinary election. The other side wants to take away freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, to take away fair voting. Some 14 states do not require voter identification. You must have free speech—the first amendment—to have a democracy. You need the second amendment—the right to bear arms to have the first amendment,” said Musk.
“President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution and to preserve democracy in America. This is a must win situation. It is very important to register to vote. Get everyone you know to register to vote. We only have two days left in Georgia and Arizona—that is 48 hours. Make sure you actually vote. If you don’t, this will be the last election,” said Musk.
President Trump: “We’ve Had The Worse Vice President In History”
President Trump resuming his rally speech said: “We have had the worse president in the history of our country. We have had the worse vice president in the history of our country. We have had the worse hurricane response. (Kamala) ruined San Francisco. She ruined California. Now she wants to ruin the United States.
“I will move education back to the States. I will seal the border to this migrant invasion. I will have the largest deportation in the history of the USA. I will defeat inflation. I will use the liquid gold (oil) under our feet. Four years ago, we were energy independent. I will ‘drill, baby, drill.’
“I will cut energy prices in half in 12 months. I will return auto manufacturing back to the United States. I will have a 15 percent corporate tax rates for products made in America. I will protect companies moving into America. I will build factories in America. We will hire American workers. We will have no taxes on tips.,” said Trump.
“There will be no tax on Social Security. We’re not going to have a World War III. We are going to rebuild our cities. Make them safe, clean and beautiful. We will have low regulation, low interest rates, low inflation. We will have a missile dome system for our country. I will keep men out of women sports.
“We will make America powerful again. We will make America wealthy again. We will make America healthy again. We will make America strong again. We will make America safe again. We will Make America Great Again.”
Ohio Senator J.D. Vance: “We Are Going To Send President Trump Back To the White House”
“In 31 days, we are going to turn this State red and send President Trump back to the White House,” said Ohio Senator J.D. Vance at the Oct 5 Trump rally in Butler. “Some 84 days ago, on this very field, an assassin tried to fill our hearts with terror. But we can’t be intimidated. We can’t be stopped. We will Make America Great Again. We will do it together.
“You heard the shots. You saw the blood. We all feared the worst. but you knew, he would be okay when he raised his fists and shouted: ‘Fight, Fight, Fight.’ I believe what happened was a true miracle. On that day, America felt the truth of scripture: ‘Though, I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.’ (Psalm 23:4).
“I believe that God saved President Trump’s life that day. I believe that God is with us right now and watches over this incredible nation every single day. But sadly, our opponents, use dangerous and inflammatory rhetoric. The media has called Donald Trump a threat to democracy. One Democratic Senator has called him an existential threat and Kamala Harris has also attacked him as a threat. How dare they threaten Donald Trump. He took a bullet for democracy. What the hell have you done?
“They attack Donald Trump to silence us. They have declared war on the first amendment of the Constitution. They want to censor. They want no guarantee to free speech. We all know that censorship is only the first step,” said Vance.
“They have wanted to silence him, bankrupt him, jail him. It was only a matter of time, before someone tried to kill him. How did Donald Trump respond? President Trump called for national unity. He has faced two assassins and returned back to the place he first got shot.
“The Harris administration has sent billions of dollars to foreign countries and illegals. When Donald Trump gets back into the White House, we will have a president who put America first. Our country has been through hard times but help is on the way.
“In this land we may get knocked down, but we get up. We keep fighting because in America, hope is not lost. We may face enemies that seek our destruction or death but in America nothing is impossible. No trial we cannot endure. No obstacle we cannot overcome. Nor any defeat that we cannot turn into victory.
“On this field, we thought President Trump was going to lose his life. But God still had a plan for his life—a plan for the United States of America. We have so much left to accomplish. We’re going to take this country back.”
Pennsylvania Senatorial Candidate David McCormick: “We Have A Choice”
“We have a choice between the strength of President Trump and the weakness of Vice President Harris,” said Pennsylvania Senatorial candidate David McCormick addressing the Oct. 5 rally attendees.
“We have a choice between common sense policies (such as) secure border and law and order in our cities to make sure America remains safe from our adversaries around the world through strength or an extreme liberal agenda where we give citizenship to illegals and back defunding our police.
“We face a crossroads. We can save our country. If we win this election, we are going to have the America we love for every single American, for our children. We will have an America we love for future generations.”
