I can't wait to see Newsom squirm, and the supersanctuary of San Diego squirm when they do not get federal funds in 2025 because of their foolish decisions. . .and have even more of a deficit. Pain teaches; if you accept it!

This behavior to “borrow from Peter to pay Paul” is ridiculous. Cutting expenses, taxes and regulations is paramount if Newsom has any hope for financial stability.

I know it says "Cash Receipts And Disbursements" but even so, it looks more like accrual accounting - in which deciphering the actual financial position is extremely difficult (nearly impossible.) If you look at the Total Disbursements line for Actual, Estimate and 2023, comparing Actual and 2023, it looks like nothing changed other than an BS target reduction. It's the same with the Receipts Over/Under. If they try to raise our taxes I might take some of my local reps to small claims court for malfeasance.

And yet, Newsom just bought another 9.5 million dollar mansion! He needs emergencies to get Fed Funds! I truly believe he tells folks when to set fires!
